Our Environmental Responsibilities

No lip service here, just good environmental practice.

This is what we are actively doing:

• Sourcing products from partnered manufacturers that are BIFMA Certified.​
• ​​The Escape chair range boasts up to 97% recyclability, our commitment to sustainability and providing real eco-friendly alternatives.
• At Escape Ergonomics we offer a Stewardship program to our customers. At the end of your chairs life we will take it back, break it down into parts and recycle it, all this for a minimal fee*​​​.

​As Escape import products from manufacturers all over the world, unfortunately with that comes packaging. We have enlisted the services of Express Way Recycling and together have extensively researched all options for reusing and/or recycling all of this waste. A simple bin system has been set up where all packaging materials are separated. Whatever cannot be recycled is then donated to local schools for use in their arts and craft departments; turning all waste into new raw materials or making some fun kids’ stuff!

At Escape we don’t just use some regurgitated “GREEN” statement… we do it!
